Knowledge Management Associates (KMA), an information technology consulting
firm and a Microsoft Gold Certified partner, builds knowledge management and
business intelligence applications for organizations in the Northeast.
We are aggressively growing our Microsoft SharePoint-based practice area. The
openings are in our Waltham office, which services clients in the Boston area
and throughout the Northeast and are for full-time employees.
We look for individuals that thrive on solving our clients' problems using
state of the art tools, in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will:

Apply strong .NET development skills to the design and development of
SharePoint-based intranets, extranets, and knowledge management systems |
|
Participate in full project life cycle from pre-sales to deployment |
|
Resolve business and technical problems which require an intimate knowledge of
Microsoft development technologies including ASP.NET and SQL Server |
Experience Requirements:
|
College Degree |
|
2+ years of intensive experience in the analysis, design, implementation and
support of web applications |
Technical Requirements:
|
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint (Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint
Portal Server), including building SharePoint sites and web parts. |
|
Web development experience using C#, ASP.NET and Visual Studio .NET |
|
Experience designing and building databases using SQL Server |
|
Knowledge of JavaScript |
|
Knowledge of XML and XSLT |
Desired Experience and Skills:
|
Previous consulting experience |
|
Strong verbal and written communication skills |
|
Ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team of KMA consultants
and our clients |
|
Strong attention to detail and analytic skills |
|
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCAD or MCSD) |
|
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office object model (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
Office Visual Basic for Applications. |

Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and Reporting Services |
